Tagging of articles during upload will allow the user to easily filter through their archival for retrieval when needed.

Tag name restrictions

• Cannot contain colon ($:$ ) or semicolon ($;$).

• Cannot start with the prefix pressum.

• Tag names are unique and category-locked: There will never be two tags with the exact same name in the Pressify database. If a tag name already exists (e.g., "Singapore" is categorized as "Country / Region"), any future use or selection of that tag name will automatically belong to the existing category (i.e., Country / Region ).

Tags in Pressify are organised into five distinct categories, each identified by a unique colour.

How to add tags

Tags can be added to articles at various places:

• During Upload

• Preview

• Full View

This can be done by clicking the "+" button in the tag box and typing and selecting a tag from the drop list. Not seeing the tag you want to add? Create it!

How to create a new tag

1. Click the "Add Tag" button.

   
2. Enter a new tag.

   • "Create a new tag will only appear for non-existing tags".

   
3. Select a category for the new tag.

4. Click "Save New Tag".

   
5. The "New Tag" created will be added to this article and Pressify database for future use.
