Looking for specific articles? Use filters in conjunction to quickly find them!

Search Methods

Pressify features multiple methods for searching:

1. Keyword search via "Search Bar"

   • Search through articles with keywords.

2. Filters

   • Tag Search

     • Search using tags created by users/AI.

   • Date Search

     • Search for articles published within a date range.

These methods can be combined to narrow down your search results.

Keyword Search

Users can search for articles using keywords by utilising the search bar. Searches can be executed on 1 collection or across multiple collections.

1. Click on "Search bar".

2. Type in keywords to search & press "Enter"

   • By default, keyword search would search through all articles accessible to the user.

   • User can also specify the collections that he/she wants to search in via the dropdown.

3. Articles will be filtered according to keywords.

   

Tag Search

Users can search for articles via tags inputted / generated.

1. In the left sidebar, select "Filter Articles".

1. Input tags to search by:

   • Typing in the "Filter search bar" and/or

   • Selecting from the category dropdown list.

1. Active filters will be displayed above articles

   • To remove filtered tags, select the "x" icon beside the filter or "Clear tags" to remove all filtered tags.

Search by date

1. In the left sidebar, select "Filter Articles".

2. Select the date tab.

3. Select the date(s) to be filtered, select "Apply Date".

   • To search for one date: Select one date.

   • To search a range of dates: Select two dates.

   
4. Similar to tags, active date filter will be displayed above articles.

   • To remove filtered tags, select the "x" icon beside the filter or "Clear tags" to remove all filtered tags.
